A Post Adoption Statement (PAS) has been prepared on behalf of the Scottish Government in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005.  

This Statement presents a summary of the responses received from the public consultation exercise carried out in 2007 as part of the Scottish Marine Renewables Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA).   

The PAS also provides a summary as to how the findings from the SEA and public consultation have been taken into account in the Marine Energy Policy Statement for Scotland. The Post Adoption Statement was published in July 2008.
